P.S. I Love You

When i got this PC, one of the first movies i’ve watched was P.S. I Love You. I actually watched it through watch-movies.net. I heard so much about this movie eversince that is why i am intrigue on how beautiful it was.

At first, I don’t seem to like the actor and actress who played the lead role. To be honest, I am not that familiar with the two but I find Gerard Butler macho and handsome. Oh, i just love his beautiful body.

Anyways, he died in the movie. What’s so nice about the love story is before he died he actually wrote series of letter to his wife to guide her not only through grief but also in rediscovering herself. Imagine that? Everyday you will receive a letter from the one you love. Oh gossshh…How i wish i will also receive a lot of love letters. I remember i only received love emails before. The movie is okay with me. I just cried a little, near the ending. 7/10 for this movie!

Thoughts about Love on Everybody has Secrets

Aside from those nice lines I’ve posted in this blog I also have something beautiful lines to give to you taken from the movie I’ve watched last night entitled Everybody has secrets. Here are they:

Prearranged choice - Loving a man she shoudn’t, she risks her life. To liberate her suppressed ego she chooses death, giving up her physical body. Look. That’s what makes her love beautiful. Only by becoming truthful to her desire for love does she achieve true love.

These were the lines said by Cho Ji Woo to her professor while watching a play. Nice right? She began it by defining what is a prearranged choice. By the way, for those of you who don’t know Cho Ji Woo she is the one who played the lead roles on the famous Korean Series such as Endless Love, Winter Sonata and Stairway to Heaven.

Il Mare

I am a frequent visitor of Crunchyroll because I both love movies and animes. Two nights ago, I watched Il Mare. Got interested with this movie  when I found out that it is quite the same with the Lakehouse. I borrowed a VCD of the Lakehouse before but wasn’t able to see it because I got busy with our thesis.

The reason why I watched Il Mare is that i was thinking this is a good substitute to the Lakehouse when I wasn’t able to grab or buy a VCD of it. I read a lot of good comments from the internet about the movie and even from my friends.

Anyways, the lead role for this movie is the lady from My Sassy Girl and Windstruck. So basing from those two good movies I was really expecting that this one is also great. But I was wrong, the entire scene was all draggy and I am not satisfied with the ending. Though, it was a happy ending but I am stil looking for something. They shouldn’t have focused more on the scenes on the writing of letters but on the time when they will meet or after they have met.

The Art of Seduction

Last night, I watched this movie - The Art of Seduction. It is a Korean Love Story and Romantic Comedy Movie. Whew! What a description! The two lead roles are Son Eon-jin ( from the famous A Moment to Remember and the Classic) and Song Il Gook (from Jumong). Hmmnn..the two look good together.

Son Eon-jin’s character here is far way different from those two great movies I’ve mentioned. Her antics are superb and I was also surprised to see her dancing. She really has a knack and it is no doubt that you can consider her as a versatile actress. Song Il Gook was just okay, a lot of exposures were actually given to Song Eon-jins.

But I am not satisfied with the ending of the movie. I want more! I was expecting they will  present a very happy and nice ending but i was just wrong. It was just something okay.

Anyways, 3.7/5 for this movie!

100 Days with Mr. Arrogant

Just this early morning, I finished watching 100 Days with Mr. Arrogant. A romantic comedy movie from Korea. I just got bored and tired that was why i watched movie. It helps, sort of a remedy. Hehehehhe…

Anyways, i was having fun while watching this movie but I am a bit frustrated with the ending. It leaves me hanging. Where Hyung-jun (Kim Jaewon) and Kang Ha-yeong (Ha Ji Won) end up together? I don’t get its ending honestly. What the heck happen? Why is Ha Jin Won doing the same or exact thing when they first meet? But this time she is on the shoes of Hyung-jun but with a different guy. Argghh!

Why don’t you check it out guys and tell me what is your idea. It is a 3.5/5 movie for movie!

A Moment to Remember

My friend, Grace requested me to stay at her boarding house to accompany her sister. She is actually out for this weekend for an outing. When I arrived at their place, Love2x and her friend were watching 200 Pounds of Beauty, a good Korean Movie also.

Afterwhich, she played another good movie entitled “A Moment to Remember”. I have actually seen this one before at the house of Sir James. I was watching alone at the wee hours that time, a bit sleepy that’s why I wasn’t able to appreciate the movie that much. Besides, this movie is just like 50 first dates. I was confused which one is the original.

Anyways, last night’s movie mood was great. I appreciate the movie so much and find it so nice compared before. I was touched and moved by their love story. It was just so awesome. How I wish I could find a guy such like him in the real world. I can’t help to admire  the character. He really loves her wife inspite of the fact that she is suffering from an alzheimer’s disease. Jahhhh…I cried most of the time.

I will now include this movie to one of my favorites. Hats off to the whole cast and to all the people behind this movie. There are numerous romantic lines in this movie. I will just have to play it again in order to have a copy of those good and romantic lines. Till next time!

Enjoy life and be in love! 10/10 for this movie!

When Love Begins

I am interested to watch this movie. I really have to set a schedule to watch this movie. It has been how many months since I watched a movie in the big screen.

Hmmnnn…I am a fan of Aga and Anne actually in their on respective ways. Started to love Aga on his movie Kailangan Kita opposite Claudine Barretto. Love Anne because she looks like Angelina (so it means she is absolutely beautiful) and her sweetness (Feeling close).

From the trailer itself, I could see that it has a nice story and romantic at the same time. I am excited about the kissing scene and love scene. Hehehehhehee….I wonder how it feels to be kissing someone who is 15 years older than you. Yeah cause Anne is 23 and Aga is 38. But then again, Aga still looks young and hot.

Anyway, kitakits sa sinehan. I don’t know if i will watch it on April 30 but definitely i will watch the movie. Before i forget, if you stil haven’t seen the trailer you better have it played now!

Paano Kita Iibigin

Middle of our thesis but I was still able to watch this movie. Hehehehhehe…Yeah, I was able to watch it while waiting for Sir Anque to arrive in their house. Remember this post? but this was a different day.

Anyways, Paano Kita Iibigin was a movie shown just last year. It was a Piolo Pascual and Regine Velasquez team up. Hmnnn..this adds up to my frustration to Filipino movies. You see, the promotions and all that advertisements seems to be saying that this movie is really nice but to tell you honestly, I hate it. Why do there are people in the television who says that the movie is super nice where in fact it is the exact opposite. Jahh…but its my fault again anyway because I still watch it. Good thing, I didn’t spend my money and time watching this movie in the big screen. Hehehehehhee…but i still respect their view if they find the movie nice but my point is if you didn’t find the movie great please don’t lie! That’s all. Sorry guys..ehehhehehe..

Before Sunrise

This movie is kinda old because it was first shown on the year 1995. I bought it from Video City for only 35 pesos but it was just actually a replacement for the movie The Lakehouse, starring Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock.

Before Sunrise is a bit boring movie because in the movie almost the whole time the two main characters who are Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy were just talking, sharing their thoughts on different issues like love, family, women and others. But the story is good because these two people are strangers who met on the train. They were able to get to talk to each other when Julie transferred a seat after irritated by two couples who fight each other. And that’s how it started, they began to be interested with each other.

And when the train reached almost reached Vienna, Ethan was able to made a decision. To invite July to come with him and leave before Sunrise. Together they visited and toured places of Vienna and fell for each other but when the time comes that they part for each other they promised that they will meet after 6 months.

Ohhh…gosssh…im excited to watch for the part 2 of this movie. As a rating, i give it 3/5!

Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo

Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo is a sequel to the blockbuster movie of Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo which was Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo. The movie is also the official entry of Star Cinema for this coming Metro Manila Film Festival (2007).

I hope i am in the right mood in watching this movie because on Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo  and I must say, I must not also expect that much. I was not really able to appreciate on the first that’s why i gave it just a passing rating.

Well, well, well good luck to all the people behind this movie. I hope this time again they will win a lot of awards especially the major awards not to mention the controversial Best Picture award which was not given to them last year.

The Prince and Me

Few hours ago, I watched this movie.

The Prince and Me story is just very simple. A college student meets and falls in love with her classmate (an exchange student) who happens to be Danish Prince. She doesn’t know that because Eddie disguised as a regular guy at the university where they are studying.

The two main characters are Paige (Julia Stiles) and Eddie/Prince (Luke Mably). The nice thing about this movie is it tells us that girls fantasy could come true. Like in the case of Paige, she was able to marry someone who happens to be a prince. Though she was able to have quite hard time adjusting to the life of a royal family she at the same time was able to fulfill her other ambition which is to finish studies and earn a degree. True love was able to wait. Isn’t it that nice?

Hmmnnn….the movie is not that romantic but it is fine.
Rating: 3/5! See details of the movie here.

The Last Kiss

The Last Kiss was just shown last 2006. I am not familiar with the cast of this movie but our teacher told me that Zach Baff is a very talented individual. Aside from being an actor he is also a producer, writer, director and screen writer. Few of the scenes in the movie he was the one who directed it.

It was the movie i have first chosen in the movie files of grace because i was so intrigued of the title. As we reached the 50% completion of the movie im starting to wonder why it was entitled as the last kiss because the story seems to be off the title. It focuses on the four guys but eventually as we reach the ending the story revolve more to Zach Baff, Jacinta Barett and Rachel Bilson. The latter played the flirtatious girl.

Michael who is Zach here was tempted to Chris (Rachel Bilson) that he allowed himself to hang-out with her, had severals kisses and eventually made a sexual intercourse after he become desperate when after an argument with Jenna. The two people who seems to  have a perfect relationship are not in trouble. Jenna was carrying their baby and it was just so depressing on her part that Michael is cheating on her.

Later on, Michael realized that he love Jenna more than anything else and he wanted to be with her again. He went to the house of the parents of Jenna and wanted to talk to her. Jenna got more angry when she knew that after their fight Michael went back to the dormitory of  Chris and had a sexual intercourse. Michael just want to be honest that’s why he told  it.

The best part of this movie was in the ending where Michael waited at the doorsteps of their house. Jenna wouldn’t allow him to come in so he was just there waiting. The soundtrack of the movie was also superb.

You’ve Got Mail

Oh, another movie of Meg Ryan! You’ve Got Mail was a movie released last 1998. Same as the City of Angels right? A movie i just watched this March 2007. See, its been 9 years. Well, its okay since blog is intended to have a short review on those old and new movies.

Same as City of Angels, many of my friends attested to  me that it is also beautiful. I like the movie since it is very much related to IT related person. I think this movie was very timely when it was released way back 1998 because the the information technology stuff is booming. The mails and chatting were new that time. The movie also starred Tom Hanks whom i have first known in the 2000 superb movie Cast Away.

The story is common now because it has been the way we communicate to each other in the different parts of the globe like chatting and sending emails. The usual thing that has been happening at the present time so i don’t need to elaborate.

City of Angels

I was so happy that this movie was being shown in Qtv. I heard so much about this movie already and they said it is beautiful. Yes, i must say and i am quite convinced because i like its unique story and i have always been an avid fan of Nicolas Cage eversince i watched the Face Off movie.

Although i could not concentrate well watching the movie because of some commercial breaks and some scenes are being cuti am still satisfied watching it. Nicolas Cage was just so amazing. I never thought he will also be doing great in a love story movie. I am not really a fan of Meg Ryan and i just knew her in this movie. When i searched her name in the internet, she has been doing a lot of love story movies pala over the past few years. Hmmmnn…i am looking forward to see her old and new movies.

If you are asking what makes it unique? It is for the reason that an angel becomes human just for the sake of love. The person preferred to become a mortal being. I am just wondering why the angels in that movie were wearing black.By the way this movie was first shown way back 1998.

Visit the official website about this movie. Just check it out here.
